I have a 2013 370z and I need to replace my rear tyres. Can anyone recommend any tyres for me what is good what is crap. Toyo,Nitto,Nexen,Falken are any of these any good or should I stick with OE Bridgestone 050

Hello my name is Naum muvceski and I recently had my car fixed. I had a engine cradle/subframe and steering rack replaced. And also a wheel bearing. When I approach a stop at slow speeds I hear a popping noise what can it be. I feel like the dealer keeps messing my car up this is my 3rd time taking it back can anyone please help me

2 weeks ago 2 of my rims were stolen, I need more protection than just the Nissan OEM wheel locks
Options/interventions
1 find a garage on Craigslist ( no luck )
2 move to a location that offers a garage and eat it in the rent ($1600 and no pets)
3 I purchased 4 theft deterrent wheel boots that block lug nut access. (Already got it an sent it back b/c you can still get at the lugs with a curved lug nut remover)

4 thinking about swapping the fist boot for this (http://www.tirelock.com/product_p/ub-2%20pf-02.htm) but the limit is 255MM so it will only work for the 2 front tires not the rear b/c they are to wide
5 custom alarm system will be installed tomorrow after I pick up the car from Nissan (price $1000) tilt/glass/motion sensor, electronic siren, 2 way remote, back up battery, 2 bright LED's, interior Siren, stickers lots and lots of stickers lol
6 multiple wheel locks and keys per wheel on top of the dealership OEM wheel locks
7 car cover to take attention away until I find a garage close to home
8 a baseball bat by the door so I can run out of the house (screaming out loud I am BATMAN) every time the 2 way alarm tells me some one is f!@&king with my car
Options need help with these wheel locks

*I am very aware that wheel locks are just a deterrent, a way to slow the crooks down, and if they really want my rims they are going to take them, but I am not going to make it easy for them and I am not going to be picked off b/c my car was an easy hit*

My first choice is

OK I was looking through the images from AAA Speedway at the Redling time attack and found a GREAT sequence shot by CALLI photography

Car is still under trail braking going right

Car is now transfering weight to the rear due to adding throttle

Car caught in the exact middle of the right to left transission and a touch of the brake

Trailing throttle and right turn-in weight transfer to outside right corner

Using the curb (still climbing)to cut down the radius of the corner and position the car for the next left hander

just after the peak of the curb note inside front tire still planted

Midway down the backside of the curb front still planted suspension extending

We have a VERY aggerssive rebound speed set into these "Robispec'd" KW's

Front effectively off the curb the tire has never left the ground!

Also note in the last 3 images the car body roll angle has stayed the same (within 1/2 degree)

This is while riding up and over a 6" curb.

This set of Robispec'r KW's has 3" bump and 3"+ droop travel

At full throttle chassis has never lost its "set" (gotten upset) going over the curb to place the car better for the next corner

Thats why Double Adjustable (2 way) long travel suspensions with independant compression and rebound valves ride great on the street while not embarrassing you at the track . I love my Modified KW's

What tires and sizes do any of you recommend? I bought the absolute best car for that and I can't get a good set of tires that don't drastically change the tire hieght( i.e RE11 275/30 19 are 82.5 mm side wall while the stock size is 98 mm) Please help me cause I'm racking my brain.

Sport Pkg or not?

Has anyone driven a touring with AND without the sport pkg? I'm planning to get a rdster when they come out and am torn...my tendency is to get top of the line, but this is going to be my everyday car and it needs to also have a wife-friendly ride for longer trips, 4hrs to beach, 2hrs to mountains, occasional drive back home 12hrs...etc. I've read in more than a couple of the articles out there that unless I plan on visits to the track to stay away from the sprt pkg...which is fine I guess, but why is that...is it just because of diff btwn 18s and 19s? I'm sure the upgraded suspension contributes as well, right? The other factor is that the larger RAYS wheels look way better than the "been there, done that" 5 spokers. Sorry for stuffing so many questions here but am also concerned about the road howl the 19s are apparently notorious for...are the 18s any better? Do we know if the Roadster will have the front chin spoiler or rear deck spoiler? Thanks.

Central 20 releases a new brake kit for the Z34

Although I think the stock sport package brakes are going to be hard to beat, central 20 is offering a 6 piston caliper two piece rotor brake upgrade.

The front rotors are 370mm and the rear are 355, pretty damn big. The rear brakes are pretty neat, considering the Z has a intergal drum in the rear rotors for the parking brake, Central 20 still was able to do a two pice rotor for the rear, 4 piston caliper as well!

Personaly I think stock sport package brakes with two piece rotor, good pads and stainless lines will serve the purpose all the way up to actual racing, this kit is cool.

I hope things like compatabilty with the ABS and EDFC system was considered. Often big brake kits increse stopping distances in modern cars for these reasons.
