Man,this is fun... I'm getting picked on. They all want to run when they see my new Z.

I beat them all so far. A Charger,Challenger Camaro,BMW,350Z,Audi all left in the dust.

I'm saving up money for my speeding tickets...

Track day tow points for 370Z

I just purchased my 2011 370Z with the Sport package this weekend. Already looking forward to a few local track days.

One thing I know I'll need is front and rear tow points.

In the front, there is a handy block welded to the frame and tapped with a large thread that looks appropriate for installing an eye-bolt tow point.

But the rear bumper and styling don't really provide any obvious tow points. There is a small plastic square above the rear "fog" light which looks like it would cover a tow point mount, but when I removed that plastic cover, there was no hole.

Is this a manufacturing defect? Should the factory have drilled and tapped a mount point behind that cover in the bumper?

Any suggestions from other owners on what they use for a rear tow point?

Hey guys!! Going to the track for the first time and I wanted to know what people are meaning when they are talking about cutting 60 footers? If someone could explain it would be greatly appreciated. Also any tips for launching would be great too.

What are your impressions?

370Z doesent drift was well as the 350Z

I was talking to Taka Ono and he was telling me that the 370Z is really stable and falls out of a drift easily. It also gets a lot of traction out of the turns and doesnt go sideways as easily. He said the 350 drifts a lot easier. This is what we predicted in our suspension article. Good for track driving and general driving.

Anyone actualy run theres yet? I am dying to know. Based on my quick test drive, I think the car is capable of low 13's-high 12s in stock form. Didnt get to go to the track though. Post those times here!
