VQ37 and it's response to turbocharging.

So the head and valvetrain have me intriqued in how the VQ37 is going to handle boost. Not so much in terms of how much power the motor can support but how can the infinitely adjustable intake "cam" and someone like Technosquare or JWT using that to their advantage when tuning a VQ37 turbo setup.

Thoughts, comments, suggestions?

Gauging Interest: Supercharger Headers 2" primaries - long tube

Gauging Interest:

Would you be interested in a high horsepower capable Supercharger Headers with 2" primaries and a long tube design?

I anticipate superchargers to become available for the 370z within 6 months... exhaust flow will be a concern.

GT motorsports GTM turbo kits for the VHR

GT Motorsports is carrying the only current turbo kit for the 370z, the Indonesian made GTM kit. This kit looks like a high quality system with cast mainfolds and Garrett ball bearing GT turbos. Although I don't think this has been tested on the Z, it has worked well on the G37.

http://www.gtmotorsports.com/product.php?productid=17247&cat=258&page=7

What I wonder about is the VHR's 11:1 compression with boost on 91 octane fuel. GT motosports has reflashes for the kit via the Cobb access port or a semi stand alone HKS V-Pro.

Other than the 11:1 compression the VHR is built pretty damn stout. SHould make a good FA motor.
