I just purchased my 2011 370Z with the Sport package this weekend. Already looking forward to a few local track days. One thing I know I'll need is front and rear tow points. In the front, there is a handy block welded to the frame and tapped with a large thread that looks appropriate for installing an eye-bolt tow point. But the rear bumper and styling don't really provide any obvious tow points. There is a small plastic square above the rear "fog" light which looks like it would cover a tow point mount, but when I removed that plastic cover, there was no hole. Is this a manufacturing defect? Should the factory have drilled and tapped a mount point behind that cover in the bumper? Any suggestions from other owners on what they use for a rear tow point? Thanks, |
