The 370Z is lighter than the 350Z by around 95 lbs.  During the development of the car, around 250 lbs were removed by putting all components on a stringent weight loss program; however, some weight had to be added back to gain chassis stiffness and for reinforcements and extra equipment mandated by stiffer crash standards and emissions requirements.  The weights for the 370Z are as follows:

Curb Weight (lbs.)

Manual Transmission
Standard 3,232
Touring 3,269

Automatic Transmission
Standard 3,232
Touring 3,269

The standard 370Z wheel and tire package is unremarkable for a high performance sports car featuring 18x8.0-inch front/18x9.0-inch 5-spoke lightweight cast aluminum-alloy wheels with P225/50R18 front and P245/45R18 rear Yokohama ADVAN Sport maximum performance summer tires.  Fortunately, for most of us performance enthusiasts, Nissan decided to equip the base car with performance summer tires instead of crippling all weather tires.

Nissan saved the state of art wheel stuff for the optional Sport Package.  The sport package wheels are 19 x9.0 front and 19 x 10.0 inch RAYS (The same guys who bring you Volk and Nismo wheels) forged lightweight aluminum-alloy wheels with Bridgestone Potenza RE050A P245/40R19 front and P275/35R19 rear tires.  The aftermarket will have a hard time topping this combo for everyday street driving! Both packages come with tire pressure monitors.

Rayswheel
The forged Rays wheel is good stuff.  They are 3.5 lbs lighter per wheel than the 350Z's wheels in the front and 3 lbs ligher in the rear.

This state of the art drivetrain boosts the 370Z into world class sports car territory, just one notch below Supercar.  It will be hard to find a car that delivers this degree of performance for the price.
