A new exhaust and some tweaking of the ECU tune produces an extra 18 horsepower and 6 lb-feet of torque over the 370Z. From our current experience tuning the 370Z we would say this is easily done. When it comes to suspension, how’s this for stiff? The Nismo 370Z comes with an upgraded suspension with higher spring rates (10% stiffer front and 15% stiffer rear), and fatter stabilizer bars (15% stiffer front and 50% stiffer rear). The overall roll stiffness rate has been increased by 15 percent and front and rear damping factors have been increased by 40 percent and 140 percent, respectively.
The Nismo 370Z also comes with wider custom wheels, Nissan-branded 5 spoke forged aluminum-alloy Rays wheels (19x9.5 inch front, 19x10.5 inch rear) mounted with wider Yokohama Advan Sport Y-rated rubber. The Nismo Z uses the big Sport Package brakes with there larger diameter 14 inch front and 13.8 inch rear vented rotors with 4-piston front and 2-piston rear aluminum calipers. These optional for the 370Z brakes are standard on the Nismo 370Z. Pricing is yet to be released but the Nismo 370Z should be in showrooms by June. We can’t wait!
