I think this is all a bad sign.  I have only seen two 370Z's being driven on the street to date.  I have actualy seen my GT-R's.  Considering I live in Orange County where these types of cars usualy sell well, this is a bad sign.

The best sports car for the money and no one wants to buy one.

Am I the only one who has noticed this?

I have noticed this too but I think in this dead market people are holding on to whatever pennies they have. Not to mention the Interest Rates are all dorked out of order right now.

Bottom line... I think any 2 seater sports cars aren't flying off of showroom floors. I bet there would be a wait list with ppl paying 5-15 over retail if the economy were booming.

I myself have only seen one other (besides the white one at Technosquare with mine) on the street. I do see more ppl posting that they got one on another website but it's pretty sparse!! Oh well.. good. I like to be rolling in an original. Pretty soon they'll be all over the place and I just won't be as special lol

I agree with mike, besides mike's Z and my white Z, i have not seen one on the street, but i've seen 3 GT-R's rolling in the inland empire. It is cool to roll alone.............

Besides your car and Mikes car, neither of which have I seen actualy going down the road, I have only seen one other 370Z, a black one in my neighborhood.  Damn this economy.  The stupid stockmarket killed my GT-R plans :(

I just saw a silver or white (couldn't quite tell) drive past me the opposite way this afternoon around 5:35 on Palos Verdes Dr. West in Rolling Hills. I saw them fangs coming and got all happy inside.. haha.

I don't think its a bad sign in terms of how successful the car is as a product. Its a bad ass car. what happened is that when this car was unveiled  (June 08) the economy came crashing down (Oct 08) and everything, including (especially) the marketing of luxury vehicles. I think instead of full blown advertising, companies are just hunkering down, trying to survive. advertising is xpensive and everyone is pulling back. Hopefully the car hangs around long enough for us to recover.

Man, I still have only seen two 370's on the street and probably 5 GT-R's by now.  Could there be more GT-R's than 370's?

Kinda sad that the longest thread here is the fact that no one sees these cars.  I think they are just not selling.  Nissan cut production by over 60 percent and I bet they cancel the Z altogether again soon.

Kinda discouraging that no one is here even though I think we have the best 370z site on the net.

It is kinda strange that this site is more informative than the other sites, yet has far less members. Well if nothing else, those who are members here appreciate the quality that has been put into this site. Keep up the good work !

I think slowly they will trickle in. Sometimes the fluff looks great on the surface and attracts the masses. If people are serious about getting pertinent info and exchanging new info through continued testing, then those are the ones who we really need. In a strange way (perhaps not for sponsors), it's almost better not to have the usual riff raff who just want to get stupid shots in on an internet forum. Then it turns into nothing more than another "youtube" where you are almost embarrased to read 90% of the remarks made by others.

Kinda like our car, let's enjoy a bit of serious discussion and individuality for the time being. A few more ppl would be good and beneficial though...

where I live in INDIANA, the dealerships just got their first Z in the last couple weeks eventhough it came out Jan 1. Not really a car you can drive here in the midwest until it gets nice out. the chicago dealers started getting their cars about 1 month ago. so, i guess this is why we haven't seen any in this area. Mine in the first the only one I've ever seen yet.

I completely agree about this site. I love how its designed, and the excellent amount of in depth information. I am new to the site also, and currently in Iraq. So I have not really had the chance to see many of these driving around out here. I currently have an 07 z and will upgrade as soon as I can find one when I get back next month. Does anyone know how the availability is working out. Are they hard to find these days?

i think the dealers are starting to get them. when i look at the Chicago dealers they all have a few. don't think any of them are going to get a lot of them in at one time. the dealer I got mine from said they were going to be careful in ordering them because they don't think there wil be a huge demand for them and they don't want to get stuck with them for long periods. I guess they feel those that love the Z will be the ones getting them initially then demand could fall off some? I guess with this economy dealers probably will not want to order as many of these specility type cars for fear of not selling them.

My big fear is that if the Z34 doesnt sell, Nissan may quit making the Z again like they did in 1996 with the Z32.  The 370 is such an awsome car with so much potential, I hope the sales turn around soon.
