The overall look of the car is also an evolution of the 350Z to maintain continuity of the line. The 370Z incorporates all of the “signature” Z car design elements that have been part of every Z made—the long nose, aircraft canopy-like cockpit, bulging muscular fenders and the 350Z's vertical door handles. The intense broad-shouldered rear shape is highlighted by the integration of the modern boomerang shaped taillights and wide, flared rear fenders. The overall shape of the exterior sheetmetal gives a sense of taut sheet metal molding itself around the wheels and frame. Other details include the addition of a flashing (repeater lamp) side marker lamp/emblem that incorporates the Z logo. These features give the 370Z's compact body an aggressive presence with a look that is bound to become a classic.

The 370Z's rear end's aggressive bulging fenders evoke images of muscular haunches ready to spring. Boy that sounds sexy! The lower bumper is styled to look like a race cars down force producing diffusers. |
