Like the exterior, the interior design of the 370Z is thoroughly modern yet reflects the design of the original 240Z and every Z that has come before it. The 370Z's interior was designed to fulfill 2 goals: to support and enhance driver performance during spirited driving and offer high levels of comfort and utility for normal commuting and around-town activities. The traditional 2-seat layout is built around a deeply scooped instrument panel featuring gauges that give the interior a neo-classic look, a full-length center console separating the driver and passenger's seats. The driver's seat is positioned to be at the center of the cars rotational axis to give the driver a more accurate driving feel.

Like the exterior, the 370Z's interior is neoclassic with roots going back to the original 240Z. The fit, finish and quality of material in the interior is superior to the 350Z. |
Thin “A” pillars were positioned for the best visibility. Gauge size has been increased over the previous generation design to improve readability including a 15 percent increase in the tachometer and adjusting the gauge angle for a better view. The instrument panel retains the traditional 3-pod cluster with oil temperature, voltmeter and clock, while the speedometer and tachometer now include an “initial sweep” function, coming alive when the Z is first started.
